When Mockberg contacted us at Smålandsinredningar, they were in the midst of an exciting growth journey. As a Swedish jewellery brand focused on sleek design and feminine strength, they already had a clear idea of what their brand should convey, both in terms of expression and feel. Our task was to translate this into their physical retail environments.
We sat down together early on to understand the brand in depth. For us, it is important that every detail, from material selection to flow in stores, is built on a well‑thought‑out holistic approach. Sharing many values with Mockberg, such as sustainability, quality, and an eye for detail, made the collaboration both natural and enjoyable.
From sketch to finished store – a holistic responsibility
We take pride in taking full responsibility for projects, and with Mockberg, we have been involved in every step, from the initial sketches to the finished store. Together we have developed a
that is easy to recognize and can be adapted to different store locations across the country.
It started with concept work and 3D visualizations, where we tested various solutions to create an airy, inviting environment. Then we built prototypes, prepared material samples, and tested different surface treatments—all within our own production in Småland. Since we manage all manufacturing under one roof, we could ensure both high quality and flexibility throughout the process. We also handled production, delivery, and installation, making it easy and secure for Mockberg to establish new stores in various locations.
The organic centerpiece – the store’s natural focal point
One of the most distinctive elements in Mockberg’s stores is the centerpiece we have developed: a softly shaped central unit that both showcases the jewellery and creates a natural flow for customers. It is a piece of furniture that we have designed entirely from scratch, with meticulous attention to both form and function. It is manufactured in our workshop in Småland and adapted to suit different store environments without losing its unique expression. We wanted to create an area where customers can pause, take in the collections at their leisure, and feel that both the space and the products are perfectly aligned. The result is a solution that is both practical and enhances the feeling of the Mockberg brand.
An interior that elevates the brand
Our goal has always been to create an environment where Mockberg’s products can take centre stage, without feeling stiff or over‑designed. By working with light, natural materials and clear forms, we have together built a store environment that feels both modern and warm. For Mockberg, it is about creating a holistic experience where the customer feels inspired. Through our interior, we have been able to support that work and contribute to a store that both reflects and strengthens their brand.
A store concept with the future in mind
We have extensive experience developing store concepts for chain customers, which becomes evident when it is time to roll out new locations. Mockberg’s concept is built to be scalable, allowing new units to be established quickly with the same quality and design language, whether it is a store in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or a smaller town. Since all fittings are Swedish-made in our own production, we can also adapt each solution to the specific premises without losing the brand's identity.
